The PAT 201 is the original machine developed by PAT in the 80’s principally for use in deep sediments in Thailand, Cambodia & Laos. Even 10 years on there are still example of these machines working effectively with private contractors.
For more general water well drilling it has been superseded by the PAT 301 and the larger PAT machines - but is still produced as special order package only to meet the particular drilling goals of development projects.
Semi-manual operated, lightweight, portable drilling machine.
PAT-Drill 201 is able to drill bore holes into alluvium to soft rock
formations up to 60 m depth at 4”-8” (100-200 mm) diameter.
Easy to assemble and operate.
